Helping Local Businesses
What:
As I look at the Palouse, Pullman, Moscow, Lewiston/Clarkston, I see a lot of potential in this region. I see a lot of new businesses trying to make it through, I see old businesses either thriving or dying. Even a few businesses I dont know how but stay in business without me ever seeing a single customer. Over the years Pullman/Moscow has had almost a transient community of business owners. This not only includes brick and mortar but also services. Services tend to be the healthier of the two but with revolving doors on general businesses, it can be difficult for service based companies to find work. I want to begin helping local businesses.
Why:
I’ve been in this region for a while and I believe I have something to offer. I have worked in International marketing at WSU and freelanced for a multitude of projects online over the past several years. I understand this area too, have been apart of multiple businesses and I want to see you succeed.
I think the biggest thing I can bring to the table is a background in analyzing data and helping others find out what really works. We can talk about technology all day, but how many people really evaluate their decisions or purchases?
Does an iPad really make you that more productive?
Do you really need to invest $20,000 in your web presence?
Have your advertising campaigns actually worked?
Do we really need social media? Which ones?
These types of questions can help you determine what is really important! I understand what technologies will actually make your life easier, not more cumbersome. Working online and developing strategies, we can begin to automate certain aspects of your business. Setting up Local search in search engines can and will drive traffic to your business. I believe in these practices and I want to work with your business. Helping local businesses is what I’m passionate about.
