The first thing that you want to do when you launch a new website is to make sure that you have submitted your indexes to Google and Bing search engine optimization or SEO is the process of having your specific website or content be found by the search engines. When you start fresh. You need to tell Google and Bing and any of these other indexes we exist, and we’re ready to be found. Number two is your keywords. If you are in real estate, you do not want to use keywords like shadowboxing, you want to make sure that the terms you’re using to describe your web content are relevant to that content. If someone puts in, I’m looking for a new house, you shop for that instead of how do I become the shadowboxing king. And all of a sudden your real estate site shows up for that. And number three, make sure on the backend of your website, you are filling out your metadata and your alt tags. These are somewhat hidden features behind the scenes that also tell whether it’s your images, the background of the backend, the things that it’s telling the search engines, this is what it’s about. This is the stuff if you have a picture of a high res building, you want to make sure you’re describing high res building in Seattle and that it’s not blank, because even something is better than nothing, but you want to make sure that the relevance is there.
